When will YOU be…. REPLACED?

Posted: April 11, 2011 in REPLACED

REPLACED had its first shoot on 4/9 and 4/10.  This was the first time the cast and crew had come together to work on this big project.  I met and worked with some amazing people on this set and we all worked hard, and did a ton, but the result were spectacular.  Each person on the team was just as valuable as the next and there were no egos, no conflicts.  Just a bunch of filmmakers coming together to make some great Indie TV and from the result I’ve seen, we excited any expectation I had.

This journey started a while ago and has gone through many twists and turns to get to where we are.  From the initial 20 page script, to work on that concept and turning it into a full feature length script that I was really proud of.  From approaching cast and crew, to auditioning some amazing actors, to Rob Gokee and Allison Vanore hosting a first ever event — the TACOAthon.  All that work lead to what we started on Saturday morning at 6am and will lead us
through 2 more shoot days with a great cast.  An awesome crew.  And idea I came up with that, so far, no one has laughed at.

This series could not be done with ALL of these talented people that have jumped on board.  From the great cast that amazing casting director Laurie Records assembled.

Jon Briddell
Lisa Catara
John Cogan
Harrison White
Dave Reaves
Brian Majestic
Jamie Fishback

To the awesome crew.

Allison Vanore
Erika Vinyard
Jorge Bicer
Raphe Wolfgang
Brian Wilmott
Joe Papa
Rakesh Anderson
Erin LeBre
Diane Beck
Krista Vanore
Jeff Sibal
Rob Gokee

The work of this great and talented cast and crew was humbling, and without them, we’d not have been able to do this.  So to you all…..  THANK YOU!  You’re all just awesome!

I want to single out a few that came together early on and believed in an idea I had and thought that it was something worth fighting for.

Erika.
She’s my rock and she has helped me in this filmmaking journey more than I can believe.   She’s always there to tell me if something is good or bad, and what works and what doesn’t.  She’s my partner and my best friend.

Jorge.
He read the first 20 pages and loved the idea and really helped me push to make it happen.  He prodded me along the way to hurry and finish and to make sure I thought about the visuals.  He surprised me the day before with some awesome lenses we got to shoot on.

Allison.
She worked so hard to assemble a great crew, find additional funds, and secure everything we needed to get to shoot day.  She believed in my idea and saw that it was something working hard for and I knew the day I stepped onto set, with her watching, I had to bring my best as she’s a pro and she got me all the tools I needed and there was no way I was going to let her down.

Rob.
What can you say that’s not been said before?  The guy is just awesome!

We wrapped early Sunday with a great shoot that was a tight location, but looking at the screen caps, turned out amazing.  I love the look we got and can’t wait to finish the pilot for the series.  I really believe what we’ve done is something that hasn’t been done in the Indie TV world yet, and I’m really proud of it. We’ve got some great stuff coming your way.  On that note….. You’ve been REPLACED!

It was awesome – sooo happy to be a part of the magic 😉

  4. This will leave a little space at the top of the list of zenoss remodel multiple devicesing projects that pay off, as
it’s one of the large number of benefits too. Nothing says” new kitchen” faster than granite counter tops. It is also possible for anyone to fold the inside panels together since the inner portion of the lot, local zoning may limit how much more house you can build storage under the sink.

  5. Hello, I enjoy reading all of your article. I like to write a
    little comment to support you.
